Packers rookie Vince Biegel (45) does a drill during Green Bay Packers rookie orientation May 5, 2017 inside the Don Hutson Center.

GREEN BAY - Rookie outside linebacker Vince Biegel isn’t sharing his return date — no matter how many times he’s asked — but said his surgically repaired foot “is progressing very well” in the Green Bay Packers' second week of camp.

Biegel remained on the physically unable to perform list on camp’s 12th day. He slowly has done more on his foot, even participating in a couple walkthrough reps, but now faces the possibility of missing preseason snaps. The Packers open their exhibition schedule Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Biegel’s last practice was the second day of rookie orientation. He has not taken a padded rep since the Packers drafted him in the fourth round.

Asked if there’s a set time by which he needs to return to be ready when the Packers open their season Sept. 10 against the Seattle Seahawks, Biegel would not provide a date.

“I know you guys like to put a date on things,” Biegel said, “but for me, it’s the foot. Whenever the foot feels healthy, whenever the trainers tell me that I continue to progress, that’s where we’re at. We’re staying the course of action. There’s no need to adjust the course or push it forward or push it back.

“We’re going to stay the course because every single day my treatment, my rehab, the foot has continued to get stronger.”
