Bernard "Boob" Darling (born November 18, 1903) was an American football player. He played his entire five year career with the Green Bay Packers and was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1970.

Darling died in March 1968.

Inducted 1970

In 1927, Beloit College star “Boob” Darling became the Packer center. Over five seasons, his steady play at pivot helped the Packers win three straight championships in 1929, ‘30 and ‘31.

The signing of Darling in 1927 changed the face of the Packer offensive line. Jug Earp moved from center to tackle as the 6’3”, 215-pound Darling took over at pivot.

Later, he was a member of the Packer Board of Directors and Executive Committee. During his tenure, the Packers hired Vince Lombardi as head coach and general manager.
