In 1921, Whitey Woodin played for the Racine, Wis., Legion of the NFL The Packers traded tackle Jab Murray to the Legion for Woodin and converted him to guard in 1922.
A solid two-way performer at guard, the 5’11”, 206-pound Woodin played from 1922-’31. Woodin, who played collegiately at Marquette University, was a member of the triple championship Packers of 1929, ‘30 and ‘31.
The hard-working, durable Woodin rarely missed a play as a Packer over 10 seasons.
