Inducted 1974

Acquired from the Washington Redskins in 1951, John Martinkovic brought determined, steady play to his left defensive end spot over six seasons in Green Bay, from 1951-’56.

During his Packer career, the 6’3”, 245-pound Martinkovic, who played collegiately at Xavier University, returned a Deral Teteak punt block and a fumble for touchdowns. Traded to the New York Giants in 1957, Martinkovic returned to make Green Bay his home after his playing career.
