Packers notes: Long snapper Brett Goode gets another shot

GREEN BAY - Long snapper Brett Goode probably should just have an open airline ticket from his home in Arkansas to Green Bay.
He keeps coming and going.
Wednesday he was back in town to begin preparations for his first game since he injured his hamstring against Cincinnati. He was subsequently released with an injury settlement and spent the past seven weeks rehabbing.
He became eligible to be re-signed this week and the Packers didn’t hesitate, releasing Derek Hart and signing Goode.
“For me, it was just trying to stay positive,” Goode said of his time away. “Maybe I’ll get a shot, maybe I won’t. Fortunately, I was able to get a shot.”
Goode said he received calls from other teams, but he was still recovering from the hamstring injury and declined to work out for teams. By the time he got healthy, the Packers were ready for him to return.
Family ties: Ravens coach John Harbaugh will be in town Saturday with his team, but he won’t be able to swing over to Camp Randall Stadium to see his brother, Jim, coach the Michigan Wolverines against the Wisconsin Badgers.
His parents will be there to cheer on Jim, but they won’t make it to Lambeau Field the next day.
“It’d be too stressful, you know?” Harbaugh said. “Too stressful. One game’s enough to deal with. It’s kind of interesting, though. Kind of fun. Hopefully, we can have some success as a family.”
Injury report: The Packers appear to be in decent health overall.
Quarterback Brett Hundley said he has spent all week getting treatment on a sore hamstring and doesn’t expect it to hinder him too much Sunday.
He was a full participant in practice.
Safety Morgan Burnett (hamstring) and running back Ty Montgomery (ribs) both did sprints and agility drills on the sideline during practice. Running back Aaron Jones (knee) was not present.
