Packers down six starters against Minnesota Vikings
GREEN BAY - Welcome to the Green Bay Packers' fifth exhibition game.
At least that's what it's going to seem like with all the starters who will be sitting Saturday night against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.
The Packers will be without six starters from the game last Sunday against Carolina, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was put on injured reserve on Wednesday.
Also inactive are receiver Davante Adams (concussion), cornerback Damarious Randall (knee), linebacker Clay Matthews (hamstring), linebacker Nick Perry (ankle/shoulder) and guard Jahri Evans (knee).
Replacement starters could be Geronimo Allison for Adams (if the Packers start with three wide receivers), Josh Hawkins for Randall, Ahmad Brooks for Matthews, Kyler Fackrell for Nick Perry and Justin McCray for Evans.
The one returning player from a week ago is cornerback Davon House (back).
