GREEN BAY – Randall Cobb said he had surgery six weeks ago to remove a piece of cartilage in his ankle, but the Green Bay Packers receiver hasn’t been limited through the first two days of training camp.

Cobb said he started feeling pain in his ankle during organized team activities this spring. Scans and X-rays were negative, but the pain didn’t dissipate. Cobb described his procedure as “nothing invasive,” though he did wear a walking boot during his recovery.

Ultimately, Cobb said, his ankle feels better than before the surgery.

“At this point,” Cobb said, “it’s just getting my conditioning back. I was here the entire offseason working with our strength and conditioning staff trying to get back and get right."
