FOXBOROUGH - The Green Bay Packers made their call between punters with their official inactive list Sunday night, and JK Scott remains their starter.

The Packers filled their 53-man roster on Saturday by surprisingly signing a second punter in Drew Kaser. It was then revealed that Scott has been awaiting word on the birth of a child, so the team prepared itself in the event Scott had to leave Massachusetts.

The Packers got some more good news: tight end Rob Gronkowski (back injury) and running back Sony Michel (knee) are inactive for the New England Patriots.

Starting wide receiver Geronimo Allison was also inactive for the Packers. Allison injured a groin in practice and has also been managing a hamstring issue. Allison was downgraded to doubtful for the game after the team determined he would not have practiced on Friday if the club held a session.

Also inactive for the Packers are:

  • Tim Boyle, QB
  • Alex Light, OL
  • Tony Brown, CB
  • Justin McCray, OL
  • Korey Toomer, LB

Prior to the game, the Patriots also ruled offensive linemen Shaq Mason (calf) and Brian Schwenke (foot) out.

Also inactive for the Patriots are:

  • Nicholas Grigsby, LB
  • Cole Croston, OL
