Report: Complaint filed after Mike McCarthy berates referees at high school basketball game

According to Fox 11 News in Green Bay, former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy is under scrutiny after berating officials at his stepson’s high school basketball game at Pulaski on Tuesday.

Fox 11 confirmed with school officials that McCarthy was involved in an incident visible on school security cameras, showing McCarthy following officials toward their locker room and engaging in a verbal exchange.

Fox also reported that a formal complaint has been submitted to the WIAA.

Pulaski’s boys basketball team defeated Notre Dame Academy in the contest, 67-66, in the opening round of the WIAA Division 2 playoffs, an outcome that ended Notre Dame’s season. McCarthy’s stepson is on Notre Dame’s squad.
