High schools to collect food at Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY - Green Bay high schools will collect food for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on Saturday at Lambeau Field.
The Stock the Box for Hunger food collection will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lambeau Field parking lot at the corner of Lombardi Avenue and South Ridge Road.
Bands from Green Bay's four public high schools — East, West, Preble and Southwest — will accept donations, to be added to the amounts they've already collected for the drive. Community members can donate nonperishable food to the collection of their favorite high school. The school with the largest collection will receive a $2,000 grant to its music program. Runners-up will receive $1,000.
