Donald Driver plans thank you fan tour across Wisconsin
GREEN BAY - Invite him and he might come.
After his induction into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame this summer, Donald Driver plans a "Thank You Fans Tour" and invites fans to invite him to their communities.
Driver, who retired in 2012, is the Packers' all-time leading receiver, with team records for receptions (743) and receiving yards (10,137). He will be inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame on July 22 at Lambeau Field. Cornerback Mark Lee will be inducted as well.
Driver's tour will be Aug. 10-13, with stops to be decided based on requests made at http://bit.ly/2osR7m9 by fans, community events, charitable causes, schools and Wisconsin companies. No deadline for requests is listed, but sooner rather than later is always good advice.

"I have wanted to do this tour since I first announced my retirement from the Packers, and now is the perfect time to say thank you," Driver said in a media release.
The tour likely will begin in southeastern Wisconsin, move west and north before ending in northeastern Wisconsin. Driver's charity celebrity softball game is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Aug. 13 at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.
Brian Lammi of Lammi Sports Management, Milwaukee, said the plan is to make 15- to 20-minute stops at as many places as possible.
"We are trying to configure how he's going to maneuver throughout the state and end up back (at the softball game)," Lammi said. "We anticipate a lot of options. There are a lot of moving parts."
As of Thursday, 300 requests had been submitted. Lammi said they have no idea how many stops can be scheduled.
"We have nothing to compare this to," he said.
Proceeds from the softball game and from corporate sponsorship of the tour will go to the Donald Driver Foundation. Supporting the tour are Kohl's, Jockey International, Associated Bank and Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin.
