Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) is swarmed by fans after scoring a touchdown in the first half during the game against Minnesota on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Lambeau Field.

GREEN BAY - Brown County residents claimed all the tickets allotted to them by lottery for the 2017 season.

The Green Bay Packers reserve 3,000 tickets per game for Brown County residents in return for their support of the 0.5 percent county-only sales tax that paid for the 2003 renovation of Lambeau Field. The sales tax was retired in September 2015, but the Packers continue the practice.

The Packers reduced the number from 4,000 in recent years because it has required two drawings for all the tickets to be claimed. It took two drawings this year as well.

Ticket holders will receive notification later this month of the games to which they are assigned. Tickets will be mailed in mid-July.

Individuals who received preseason game tickets in 2016 are guaranteed regular-season tickets this year.

To be considered for the lottery, contact the Green Bay Packers tickets office at (920) 569-7501.
