GREEN BAY - If your family has a Thanksgiving tradition of a friendly backyard football game while the turkey is in the oven, how would you like to take the action to Lambeau Field this year?

As part of its celebration of 100 seasons, the NFL will award one Turkey Bowl squad from across the country the chance to play a game of flag football at Lambeau during Thanksgiving week. Did we mention you’ll meet retired Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre while you’re there?

The contest comes with a long list of other perks, too: 

• A locker room customized for your squad with 12 custom uniforms.

• Full officiating crew.

• Play-by-play announcer.

• Pregame tour of the stadium and Packers Hall of Fame.

• Swag bag that includes Bose headphones, a gold football and an NFL100 tote.

The winner and up to 11 guests will also score round-trip air transportation to Green Bay from Nov. 25 to 27, hotel accommodations, ground transportation in the city, a welcome dinner, brunch buffet. and tubing and ice skating in the Titletown District. Estimated retail value: $24,405.

To enter, post a photo or video (1 minute or less) to your public Instagram or Twitter account showcasing why you and your team should be picked. Tag @NFL and use the hashtag #NFL100Contest.

Entries will be judged based on three categories: passion, enthusiasm and fandom for the NFL; delivery style and how well you articulate your reasons; and quality, uniqueness and creativity of your submission.

The contest opened Sunday and was unveiled during a national TV spot narrated by Favre. "Lambeau Field has more history than any other stadium in the NFL ... The field has witnessed its fair share of iconic moments, and it's about to see another." 

Entrants must be 18 years or older.

Deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. Eastern time Oct. 22. Winner to be announced on or about Nov. 1. The game will be played Nov. 26 — that's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
