Get a load of Aaron Rodgers' quarantine beard as he humorously introduces Max Homa for return of PGA Tour
If you're wondering what Aaron Rodgers has — or hasn't — been up to in the last couple of months, just check out the quarantine beard.
Let's just say it's coming along ... nicely?
The Green Bay Packers quarterback and his substantial facial hair made an appearance Thursday to do a virtual introduction of his friend Max Homa for the return of the PGA Tour at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Forth Worth, Texas.
Rodgers humorously introduced the professional golfer as a "one-time winner on the PGA Tour, avid amateur Scrabble player, occasional podcaster and all-time Twitter troll." The announcing skills were solid, but it's the beard that got people talking. Responses to it on Twitter referenced Grizzly Adams, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Rick Grimes, Ben Roethlisberger, Yukon Cornelius, Abraham Lincoln and a Civil War general.
Rodgers will also be among the celebrities golfing in the American Century Championship July 8-12 in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He hasn't missed the tournament since 2005.
Rodgers will be joined by friend and former Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk, Brian Urlacher, Jerome Bettis, Larry the Cable Guy, Ray Romano, Jerry Rice, Sean Payton, Chris Harrison, Terrell Davis, Miles Teller, and two-time defending champ Tony Romo, among others.
The 31st annual event will be played without spectators this year due to the coronavirus and broadcast live by NBC Sports. All prize money will be donated to COVID-19 relief and area nonprofits.
