Green Bay Packers receiver Jeff Janis catches a pass against Kansas City Chiefs cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke during a presesaon game at Lambeau Field last August.

Rookies Jeff Janis and Mike Pennel were notable among the inactive players for Green Bay.

With Janis, the team's seventh-round draft pick inactive, the Packers suited up only four receivers -- Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Jarrett Boykin and rookie Davante Adams.

Pennel's absence meant the defensive line consisted of Datone Jones, Mike Daniels, Josh Boyd and Letroy Guion.

Quarterback Scott Tolzien and rookie linebackers Carl Bradford and Jayrone Elliott were healthy scratches as well.

Players listed as inactive because of injury were tight end Brandon Bostick (fibula) and rookie cornerback Demetri Goodson (concussion), who were ruled out this week.

Inactive for Seattle were cornerback Tharold Simon, running back Christine Michael, wide receiver Mike Norwood, wide receiver Phil Bates, defensive end Greg Scruggs, tight end Cooper Helfet and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis.
