Offensive tackle Mitchell Van Dyk (66) prepares to block during training camp at Rams Park.

The Packers worked out former Portland State offensive lineman Mitchell Van Dyk on Monday, according to a league source.

A three-year starter at right tackle, Van Dyk (6-7, 299) was one of the St. Louis' four seventh-round picks in May's draft.

He played mostly on the interior line with the Rams and was among their final cuts.
