The Green Bay Packers will take on the New York Jets in their home opener Sunday.
While the Packers were humbled in their season-opening loss at Seattle last week, the Jets are coming off a 19-14 home victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Here's a quick sampling of what New York-area media outlets were talking about today.
- New York Times: Rex Ryan is optimistic starting cornerback Dee Milliner will be recovered from an ankle injury to play, at least in a limited role, against the Packers.
- New York Daily News: Backup quarterback Michael Vick says he feels like a starter but won't rock the boat.
- New York Post: The Jets' defense says Aaron Rodgers should be worried about them, too.
- NJ.com: Jets defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson is impressed with Aaron Rodgers' pocket awareness.
- Wall Street Journal: Jets coach Rex Ryan has had to get creative with his depleted secondary.
