On a cold, gray day, the Green Bay Packers had their first of two practices preparing for Thursday night's showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers are generally healthy at the season's quarter pole. Still, receiver Jarrett Boykin (groin), defensive lineman Josh Boyd (knee) and linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring) were held out of Tuesday's practice.

Outside linebacker Clay Matthews (groin) and inside linebacker Brad Jones (quadriceps) were listed on the Packers injury report on Monday, but both were able to practice Tuesday.

Media observed only the first 18 minutes of practice. With a short week, the Packers have plenty of game plan installation to get out of the way.
