Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater looks for an open receiver against the Falcons.

The Minnesota Vikings were without Teddy Bridgewater on Thursday night. The starting rookie quarterback was inactive with an ankle injury and Ponder started his seventh game against the Packers.

Bridgewater sustained a mild high ankle sprain last week, and was limited in practice during the short week. Ponder now is 1-5-1 as a starter vs. Green Bay.

For the Packers, Boyd was inactive with a knee injury, and replaced by Robinson.

Also inactive injured for the Packers were wide receiver Jarrett Boykin, who sat last week with a groin injury, and linebacker Sam Barrington, with a hamstring injury. Clean scratches for the Packers were quarterback Scott Tolzien, linebacker Carl Bradford, cornerback Demetri Goodson and center Garth Gerhart.

Linebacker Brad Jones, who has been inactive since the opener with a quadriceps injury, was active but didn't start. Instead, Jamari Lattimore started again alongside A.J. Hawk at inside linebacker.

Minnesota starters Chad Greenway and Kyle Rudolph both missed their second straight games because of injury. Greenway, a linebacker, has hand and rib injuries, while Rudolph, a tight end, has abdomen and groin injuries. Second-year linebacker Gerald Hodges started for Greenway and third-year tight end Rhett Ellison for Rudolph.

Also inactive for the Vikings were linebacker Brandon Watts, guard David Yankey, guard Austin Wentworth and defensive end Scott Crichton.

The Vikings also promoted quarterback Chandler Harnish from the practice squad to back up Ponder.
