Injured Green Bay Packers defensive linemen B.J. Raji, left, and Datone Jones watch practice at Clarke Hinkle Field on Thursday.

Neither Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin nor defensive end Datone Jones took part in Thursday's padded practice, leaving their status in question for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Boykin's absence isn't a shock because Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that he didn't expect the third-year receiver to practice on Thursday.

Jones is considered day-to-day after spraining his ankle early in last week's 42-10 win over Minnesota.

Center JC Tretter was an observer during offensive line drills. He's required to miss the next three games because of his placement on temporary injured reserve, but is eligible to resume practicing next week.

Defensive end Josh Boyd (knee) and inside linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring) continued to practice after being limited on Wednesday.

McCarthy was scheduled to speak to to the media at approximately 2 p.m.
