Datone Jones is questionable to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, but coach Mike McCarthy is hopeful the second-year defensive lineman might be able to work in some capacity in Saturday's final practice.

Green Bay Packers defensive end Datone Jones, left, leaves the field after injuring an ankle during the second quarter of the game against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field on Oct. 2.

Jones sat out Wednesday and Thursday's practices after spraining his ankle in last week's 42-10 win over Minnesota.

"I would hope if we were practicing (Friday) he would've been out there in some form or fashion," McCarthy said. "He's very optimistic. He's doing everything he can."

Receiver Jarrett Boykin (groin) was ruled out from his third consecutive game, while inside linebacker Sam Barrington (hamstring) is questionable. Defensive lineman Josh Boyd (knee) and tackle David Bakhtiari (back) are probable.

Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno (elbow) is probable after missing the last two games.

Minnesota safety Antone Exum was fined $22,050 for his illegal blindside block of Packers cornerback Jarrett Bush, which occurred on a punt in the second quarter of Green Bay's 42-10 win last Thursday at Lambeau Field.
