Green Bay Packers safety Morgan Burnettt (42) and cornerback Sam Shields (37) went through stretching and warmups, then watched Tuesday's practice at Clarke Hinkle Field.

The Green Bay Packers' secondary continued to be less than full strength as this week's practices began Wednesday.

Cornerback Tramon Williams (ankle) was able to practice after playing Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, but he was replaced on the did-not-practice list by safety Morgan Burnett. Cornerback Sam Shields (knee) also was held out of practice for the second straight week. Burnett and Shields went through stretching and warmups, but they did not go through drills.

Defensive end Datone Jones and running back James Starks also were held out of practice. Jones has only practiced once since injuring his right ankle against the Minnesota Vikings. Starks was a new addition to the DNP list. He injured an ankle on Sunday.

Cornerback Davon House practiced after dislocating his right ring finger against the Panthers. His ring finger and pinky were taped together outside his glove. House said Monday his finger injury wouldn't prevent him from practicing this week or playing against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy was to speak with the media after Wednesday's practice.
