Linebacker Nick Perry, who missed practice this week with a shoulder injury, is inactive for the Green Bay Packers as they take on the Minnesota Vikings.

Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Nick Perry.

Perry had been playing more of late after the Packers shifted Clay Matthews to inside linebacker. Perry had a season-high 53 defensive snaps last week against Philadelphia.

Perry's absence might provide an opportunity for rookie Jayrone Elliott, who has been in on only 19 defensive snaps this season. Elliott was listed as questionable to play with a hamstring injury.

Also inactive for the Packers is special teams ace Jarrett Bush, who missed almost the entire week with a groin injury.

Others inactive are tight end Brandon Bostick (hip), wide receiver Jeff Janis, center Garth Gerhart, linebacker Carl Bradford and quarterback Scott Tolzien.

Active for only the second time this season is rookie cornerback Demetri Goodson.

For the Vikings, starting defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd won't play today with a knee injury. Also out are running back Matt Asiata (concussion), fullback Zach Line, linebacker Mike Mauti, linebacker Brandon Watts, guard David Yankey and guad Austin Wentworth.

Starting in place of Floyd will be Shamar Stephen.

Also, Joe Berger will start at right guard in place of Vladimir Ducasse.

Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings (rib) and offensive tackle Matt Kalil (knee) are active today despite missing practice time this week.
