Adams held out of Thanksgiving practice
Green Bay Packers rookie receiver Davante Adams was held out of practice on Thursday for the first time this season.
The reason for Adams' absence was unclear. The second-round pick has been the Packers' No. 3 receiver, catching 28 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns while playing every game this season.
Outside linebacker Nick Perry (shoulder) and cornerback Jarrett Bush (groin) again were held out of practice. Both missed last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Right guard T.J. Lang (ankle) practiced for the first time this week. Left guard Josh Sitton (toe) also practiced after participating Wednesday.
The Packers moved Thursday's practice time into the morning so players could leave Lambeau Field early and be with their families on Thanksgiving. Practice was held indoors.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy was to speak briefly with the media after practice.
