Sam Shields active for Packers

Green Bay Packers starting cornerback Sam Shields is active for tonight's game against the Atlanta Falcons, having passed medical protocols for the concussion he sustained last week.

Shields was listed as questionable to play against the Falcons after not practicing this week.

Inactive for the Packers are linebacker Jamari Lattimore (ankle), tight end Justin Perillo, wide receiver Jeff Janis, center Garth Gerhart, quarterback Scott Tolzien, linebacker Carl Bradford and newcomer defensive tackle Bruce Gaston, who was signed today off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.

Inactive for Atlanta are cornerback Robert Alford, quarterback Sean Renfree, safety Charles Godfrey, linebacker Tyler Starr, tackle Jonathan Scott, defensive end Stansly Maponga and linebacker James Anderson.

Alford was listed as a starter for the Falcons.

Roddy White, who was questionable with an ankle injury, is active.
