Packers' 2015 schedule: Game-by-game breakdown

Week 1
at Chicago Bears

Last year: 5-11, fourth place NFC North
All-time series: Packers trail 88-92-6 in the regular season (1-1 in playoffs)
Last meeting at Soldier Field: Packers won 38-17 on Sept. 28.
Lowdown: The Packers have won five straight games at Soldier Field dating to the 2011 NFC championship game, and only once was the score within a touchdown.
Week 2
vs. Seattle Seahawks
When: Sunday, Sept. 20, 7:30 p.m.
Last year: 12-4, first place NFC West
All-time series: Packers lead 10-8 in the regular season (2-1 playoffs)
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 48-10 on Dec. 27, 2009.
Lowdown: After a couple heartbreaks at Seattle in recent years — the Fail Mary, last season's NFC title game collapse — the Packers finally get the Seahawks in their own building.
Week 3
vs. Kansas City Chiefs
When: Monday, Sept. 28, 7:30 p.m.
Last year: 9-7, tied second place AFC West
All-time series: Packers trail 3-7-1 in regular season (1-0 playoffs)
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers lost 40-34 on Oct. 12, 2003.
Lowdown: A scheduling conflict prevented the Packers and Chiefs from meeting in the preseason finale for the first time since 2010, but these two familiar foes will get a crack at each other in the regular season.
Week 4
at San Francisco 49ers
When: Sunday, Oct. 4, 3:25 p.m.
Last year: 8-8, third place NFC West
All-time series: Packers lead 20-15 in the regular season (4-3 playoffs)
Last meeting at Levi's Stadium: It will be the Packers' first trip to Levi Stadium, which opened in 2014. Green Bay lost 34-28 in their last trip to San Francisco on Sept. 8, 2013.
Lowdown: From a new stadium to a new coaching staff and roster turnover, it will be a much different 49ers team than the last time the Packers traveled to San Francisco to kick off the 2013 season.
Week 5
vs. St. Louis Rams
When: Sunday, Oct. 11, noon
Last year: 6-10, fourth place NFC West
All-time series: Packers trail 18-19 in the regular season (1-1 playoffs)
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 24-3 on Oct. 16, 2011.
Lowdown: Packers have won their past four games against the Rams dating to 2007, with three of those games coming on the road, and the average margin of victory 17.25 points.
Week 6
vs. San Diego Chargers
When: Sunday, Oct. 18, 3:25 p.m.
Last year: 9-7, tied second place in AFC West
All-time series: Green Bay leads 9-1 in the regular season
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 31-24 on Sept. 23, 2007.
Lowdown: These two teams haven't met often, but when they have the Packers have generally won. The Chargers' lone win in the series was 34-28 on Oct. 7, 1984, at Lambeau Field.
Week 7
BYE
Week 8
at Denver Broncos
When: Sunday, Nov. 1, 7:30 p.m.
Last year: 12-4, first place AFC West
All-time series: Packers are tied 6-6-1 in the regular season (0-1 playoffs)
Last meeting at Sports Authority Field at Mile High: Packers won 19-13 on Oct. 29, 2007.
Lowdown: In what will likely be their final meeting, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning — who own seven MVPs between them — will square off.
Week 9
at Carolina Panthers
When: Sunday, Nov. 8, noon
Last year: 7-8-1, first place NFC South
All-time series: Packers lead 9-4 in the regular season (1-0 playoffs)
Last meeting at Bank of America Stadium: Packers won 30-23 on Sept. 18, 2011.
Lowdown: The Packers had no problem dismantling the Panthers at home last year, but Carolina could be a tougher test on the road this season.
Week 10
vs. Detroit Lions
When: Sunday, Nov. 15, noon
Last year: 11-5, second place NFC North
All-time series: Packers lead 57-39-4 in the regular season (2-0 in playoffs)
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 30-20 on Dec. 28 in what was the de facto NFC North title game.
Lowdown: The win extended Green Bay's home winning streak against Detroit to 24 straight games and locked up the Packers' fourth straight division championship, while also securing a first-round bye in the playoffs.
Week 11
at Minnesota Vikings
When: Sunday, Nov. 22, noon
Last year: 7-9, third place NFC North
All-time series: Packers lead 49-48-2 in the regular season (1-1 playoffs)
Last meeting at TCF Bank Stadium: Packers won 24-21 on Nov. 23.
Lowdown: Green Bay has won four of its past five games in Minnesota.
Week 12
vs. Chicago Bears
When: Thursday, Nov. 26, 7:30 p.m.
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 55-14 on Nov. 9 in what was one of the most lopsided games in the rivalry's history.
Lowdown: Aaron Rodgers threw a career-high six touchdown passes in the first half, almost tying a single-game NFL record in only 30 minutes.
Week 13
at Detroit Lions
When: Thursday, Dec. 3, 7:25 p.m.
Last meeting at Ford Field: Lions won 19-7 on Sept. 21.
Lowdown: Detroit has won its past two home games against the Packers, which briefly gave the Lions their first official "winning streak" against the Packers in 15 years.
Week 14
vs. Dallas Cowboys
When: Sunday, Dec. 13, 3:25 p.m.
Last year: 12-4, first place NFC East
All-time series: Packers trail 13-16 in the regular season (4-3 playoffs)
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 26-21 in the NFC divisional round playoff game Jan. 11.
Lowdown: The Cowboys will certainly be seeking revenge — and exorcising some bad memories — after their season ended with a controversial Dez Bryant non-catch in an NFC divisional game.
Week 15
at Oakland Raiders
When: Sunday, Dec. 20, 3:05 p.m.
Last year: 3-13, fourth place AFC West
All-time series: Packers lead 7-5 in the regular season (1-0 playoffs)
Last meeting at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum: Packers won 41-7 on Dec. 22, 2003.
Lowdown: The Packers will carry a six-game winning streak when they travel to the Raiders. Their last loss in Oakland came in 1984.
Week 16
at Arizona Cardinals
When: Sunday, Dec. 27, 3:25 p.m.
Last year: 11-5, second place NFC West
All-time series: Packers lead 12-4-1 in the regular season (1-1 playoffs)
Last meeting at University of Phoenix Stadium: Packers lost 51-45 in overtime of the NFC wildcard game Jan. 10, 2010.
Lowdown: Packers fans will easily remember Green Bay's last trip to Arizona, the overtime playoff loss that ended the 2009 season.
Week 17
vs. Minnesota Vikings
When: Sunday, Jan. 3, noon
Last meeting at Lambeau Field: Packers won 42-10 on Oct. 2.
Lowdown: In a Thursday night prime time game, the Packers jumped out to a 42-0 lead after three quarters and cruised in the final 15 minutes.
