Eddie Lacy dropped out of the Packers’ practice Tuesday because of a sore foot, coach Mike McCarthy said.

McCarthy had no other details about the running back’s condition, so it’s unclear whether the injury is minor or something longer term. Lacy had a toe injury in college that required surgery.

The injury left the Packers down two players at running back. Rookie John Crockett hasn’t practiced yet in training camp because of an injured ankle. James Starks finished the practice as the No. 1 back, and the other healthy backs were Raijon Neal and Alonzo Harris. Fullback John Kuhn can play halfback in a pinch as well.

Linebacker Clay Matthews attended practice but did not participate for the second straight day because of a sore knee. McCarthy had no update on Matthews’ condition.

Outside linebacker Adrian Hubbard and tackle Vince Kowalski were new additions to the injury list. Hubbard didn’t practice Tuesday after dropping out early on Monday because of a groin injury. Kowalski didn't practice Tuesday because of a concussion.
