Sam Shields, Ty Montgomery out vs. Panthers

The Green Bay Packers will be without two cornerbacks on their 46-man gameday roster when they play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
Sam Shields, the Packers' top cornerback, and rookie Quinten Rollins are among the Packers' seven inactives. Shields (shoulder) and Rollins (neck) were injured last week at the Denver Broncos and did not practice leading up to today's game. Both were listed as doubtful.
The Packers could use the same lineup in their defensive backfield as last week, with Casey Hayward and rookie Damarious Randall starting on the perimeter and safety Micah Hyde covering the slot in the nickel package. The Packers activated undrafted rookie LaDarius Gunter, as well as second-year cornerback Demetri Goodson, to provide more depth in the secondary. Either could be possibilities in nickel situations.
The Packers are also without their complete set of skill players. Receiver Ty Montgomery (ankle) is also inactive for the second straight game. Montgomery, listed as doubtful, was injured three weeks ago against the San Diego Chargers. The Packers haven't had their complete offense on the field since the season opener at the Chicago Bears almost two months ago.
Here's the full list of the Packers' seven inactives against the Carolina Panthers:
QB Brett Hundley
CB Quinten Rollins
CB Sam Shields
LB Andy Mulumba
G Lane Taylor
TE Kennard Backman
