Corey Linsley sits out of practice again
Corey Linsley again was absent during Wednesday’s abbreviated practice that was conducted on Clarke Hinkle Field on a cloudless day in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Packers center also sat out Tuesday after aggravating his right sprained ankle. Left guard Josh Sitton was the only other player who didn’t appear on the field during the small portion of practice available to the media.
It’s possible the eight-year veteran was simply resting after playing through recent back and knee injuries. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga (ankle/knee) and right guard T.J. Lang (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity after not playing last Thursday against Detroit.
Receiver Ty Montgomery (ankle) and cornerback Damarious Randall (ankle/hamstring) didn’t appear to have any setbacks in their recoveries. Tight end Andrew Quarless (knee, temporary injured reserve) also practiced.
Quarless will get another chance to go in pads Thursday before the team must decide whether to activate him for Sunday’s game against Dallas.
The Packers’ full injury report will be released later today.
