Packers schedule to be unveiled Thursday

Green Bay Packers fans won't have to wait much longer for details about the 2016 schedule, which will be announced Thursday night.

The NFL said Wednesday that the regular-season schedule will be released at 7 p.m. Central time on the NFL Network.

Green Bay's opponents already are set. The Packers will play home and away against their three NFC North  rivals: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers also will host the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.

Green Bay will have road games against the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins.
