Green Bay Packers linebacker Sam Barrington will receive a Humanitarian Award from Pop Warner for the way his achievements on and off the field inspire youth across the country.

The award will be presented May 28 during the 56th annual Pop Warner All-American Scholastic Banquet at Walt Disney World’s Yacht Club Resort in Orlando, Fla.
It continues a year of off-field accomplishments for Barrington. He was the Packers' nominee for the 2015 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, voted by his teammates as the Ed Block Courage Award recipient, and received a 2015 community service award from the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce.
