GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers announced a pair of changes to their personnel department Thursday. Jon-Eric Sullivan has been promoted to director of college scouting, and former Packers safety Charlie Peprah has been hired as a scouting assistant.

Sullivan is in his 13th season with the Packers and spent the previous 12 years as a college scout. He assumes a role filled most recently by Brian Gutekunst, who himself was promoted to director of player personnel in March.

During his time as a college scout, Sullivan was the team's National Football Scouting representative at the annual NFL scouting combine. His area of focus was the Southwest region.

Peprah joins the Packers in an official role after spending last season as an intern. A seven-year veteran, Peprah played for the Packers from 2006-08 and 2010-11. He was the team's starting strong safety during his second stint.

He finished his career in Green Bay with 181 tackles (140 solo) and seven interceptions.
