The Green Bay Packers signed running back Brandon Ross on Tuesday, increasing their roster to 89 players two weeks until training camp.

Ross played college football at Maryland, where he was honorable mention All-Big Ten as a senior. He ran for 958 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
After being undrafted this spring, Ross originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings in May. He didn't last through the end of that month before being released.
The Packers currently have one roster spot open should they decide to make another signing before camp. Their first practice will be Tuesday, July 26.
