GREEN BAY - With two open spots on their 90-man roster, the Green Bay Packers filled one Thursday by signing wide receiver Harvey Binford.

Binford played for the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League in 2015 and ‘16. The 6-foot, 185-pound receiver starred at Lindenwood University in Belleville, Ill., scoring the first touchdown in the program’s history as an NCAA Division II member in 2012.

The Packers still have an opening on their roster after releasing running back Don Jackson and defensive end B.J. McBryde earlier this week.
